VentureBeat released a nice write-up on Shorthand.
Senior Editor of VentureBeat, Anthony Ha, begins his review with the question, "Smartphone applications are perhaps the hottest area for startups nowadays, but what about people who don’t have a mobile data plan?"
He couldn't be more spot on. According to a recent Nielsen Report, nearly 2/3 of teens don't have data, yet it seems that all we see advertised is 3G this and 4G that. Thanks, VentureBeat, for the reminder that you don't necessarily need a data plan to get mobile data.
